When you come out, you change—utterly. You are for the first time yourself. And what has an actor got to use onstage but himself? |

Time, space, patience...all things my spouse needs. Life is what we make it. Thank goodness for free will and an unknown future, otherwise there is no hope. There are many ways to educate yourself- books, counseling, support groups, websites, religion, friends and family. It is probably good to utilize as many as possible. If you and your spouse have a joyful companionship, you might be able to have a marriage where both of you can have your needs met and be accepting of the alternate twist. If your spouse is unable to come to terms with the "new" you, then the marriage is most likely going to need to end. This does not necessarily mean on bad terms, perhaps your relationship can evolve to a civil or even very friendly one. Being alone can be very scary. Being in a group often feels better. Come join us and help yourself find your future and what it means to be you. More is coming soon to this section... member contributions are coming.
